Everybody deserves a retreat from time to time in order to assess what is happening. The livingness that is a contemplative dancing person is enriched by taking a step back, putting on hold any forward movement that is exhaustive and depleting. This dancing person benefits by reversing directions to nourish and pause.
There is wisdom in getting off the spinning wheel of progression and growth to abide in the pause and the good.
You deserve a retreat to the interior vividness of restoring yourself and the original landscapes of creativity as your original signature, connections that are free of competition and justification, and an environment rich in solidarity for our humanness.
This Urban Retreat is a place and time where you and I will bring into reality these types of awarenesses.
The Dance Floor: This dancing practice is an iterative experience that concentrates on the freedom and variety inevitable in repetition. Not only does the body physically dance, but you will become attuned to the dances of the heart, of intuition, of service, of friendliness to self and others, and to freedom and fulfillment.
The City: Hang with Vincent in his hometown. One evening at his home with Anna, for a gathering and dinner. Coffee/Tea dates during the week. Time to explore PDX nightly and the many outstanding things she offers…

Its many parks, highlighted by Forest Park, a 5200 acre Urban Forest
Restaurants and Food Carts ( a Portland tradition) abound
The Everett House, a Portland institution; I would use these facilities as a young dancer who had muscle aches after a long day of rehearsal and classes. It’s a clean and safe energy place you may enjoy as well.
Looking for a massage while here, I recommend the gifted hands of Nick at Massage Hodgepodge.
