Wedding Vendor Industry Meet-up

  • The Den 116 Southeast Yamhill Street Portland, OR, 97217 United States (map)

Are you a wedding vendor who works in Portland, Oregon, who'd like to meet more wedding vendors that you actually like? Come hang out at this casual meet-up! It's free to join and there's no set agenda beyond "hey, this is what I do for a living. How about you?"

RESERVE YOUR SPOT HERE: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wedding-vendor-meet-up-tickets-643736973617?aff=ebdsoporgprofile

Who is this event for? This event is for anybody who works weddings, whether one a year or a million a year. It is not for business owners who sell services to wedding vendors. If that's you and you're interested in interacting with wedding vendors, please email us at altaredpx@gmail.com.

What are the health and safety boundaries for this event? We aren't setting any boundaries that exceed Oregon legal mandate. This means that masks will not be required though you are, of course, welcome to wear one, we aren't asking for proof of vaccination, and we aren't asking for proof of a negative COVID test. The event will be indoors.

Is this building wheelchair-accessible? Yes!

Are food and drink provided? Food and drink will be available for purchase. Here is the food menu. Here is the drink menu. Card only. No cash.

Why do I have to register for this? It was the easiest way we could think of to get a sense of headcount, and make sure you get automated reminders about the event.

Can I bring a wedding vendor friend? Please do! It be cool if they registered ahead of time but no worries if they don't.

Can babies and kids come? They sure can! We aren't providing dedicated childcare for this event like we did at our December 5, 2022, gathering but this venue is kid-friendly.

Can my partner(s) come? Sure though be warned that this will be a lot of wedding people talking shop so they might just want to stop by and say "hi." Up to you.

What's parking like? Free street parking is available near the venue and, per the venue, easily available after 5 p.m. The venue is easily accessible via transit.

Do I have to care about Altared to go to this? Nope. We're using Altared to help spread the word but you don't have to care about (or even know what) Altared is to attend.

Wait. What the heck is Altared? Altared is a space for wedding vendors who want to change the wedding industry. Learn more at altaredpdx.com and @altaredpdx.

Please send any questions, concerns, or feedback to altaredpdx@gmail.com.
